NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adénine Dinucléotide)

CAS # : 53-84-9

NAD+ is a vital coenzyme found in all living cells, central to energy metabolism, DNA repair, and cellular aging. It converts nutrients into ATP in mitochondria, activates longevity-linked sirtuins, and enables DNA repair enzymes like PARP. NAD+ levels decline by up to 50% between ages 30 and 70. Supplementation supports metabolism, cognitive function, and healthy aging. Available as lyophilized powder.

Aperçu du produit

NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) exists in oxidized (NAD+) and reduced (NADH) forms. The NAD+/NADH ratio is a critical measurement of cellular redox state and metabolic health, typically around 700:1 in the cytoplasm of healthy mammalian tissues. NAD+ is synthesized through de novo pathways from tryptophan or salvage pathways recycling nicotinamide. Age-related decline in NAD+ levels (approximately 50% between ages 30–70) drives reduced cellular function and increased susceptibility to age-related diseases.

Mécanisme d'action

NAD+ serves as a key coenzyme in mitochondrial energy metabolism, converting nutrients into adenosine triphosphate (ATP). It activates sirtuins — a family of proteins involved in energy metabolism, DNA repair, and cellular aging. When cells experience oxidative stress or radiation damage, DNA repair enzymes like PARP consume large amounts of NAD+ to initiate repair and maintain genetic stability.

Principaux avantages

Cellular Energy Production — Essential cofactor for converting nutrients to ATP in mitochondria. Boosting NAD+ enhances mitochondrial function and removes damaged mitochondria, improving overall metabolic efficiency.

Sirtuin Activation & Anti-Aging — Activates sirtuin proteins linked to longevity, energy metabolism, and DNA repair. Helps slow age-related cellular decline.

DNA Repair & Genomic Stability — Powers PARP enzymes for DNA damage repair, maintaining genetic integrity under oxidative stress and environmental damage.

Amélioration cognitive — Suppresses neuroinflammation and improves cognitive performance, supporting long-term brain health.
